In between all of the above the third test match against the West Indieswill be taking place.
For all of you who have fond memories of the green cricket pavilion, please note that as of this Friday it will be no more! Fred Dibnah will be moving in on Friday morning to huff and puff and blow it down as part of the initial stages of the new back pitch pavilion development. There should be minimal disruption as it is not expected to take a great deal of time!
The replacement of the old boiler is now complete and those that do make use of the showers will have noticed the difference in temperature and water pressure. There is a little more work that needs to be completed before any central heating can be used, but of course in this present heatwave that won't be necessary anyway!!
Until next time
